Joliet West Meet Recap

Frosh/Soph steps up in a big way. The story of the 2nd meet of the season was the freshman and sophomores really stepping up and competing at a high level. They finished 2nd overall to a very tough Joliet West team. The guys had three event wins: Anthony Nieves in the 400, Connor O'Leary in the 55, and Cam Henderson in the shot put. Two second place finishes Tommy Adelmann in the 1600, and the 4x200 of O'Leary, Aaron Larkins Jr, Nieves, and Lucciano Blandino. Aaron Wyckoff in the 3200, Nieves in the 200, and Brodie McIntyre all finished in 3rd in their events as well.

The varsity had multiple 3rd place performances: Hunter Fuss in the long jump, Nicholas Barner in the 200, and Jon Goetsch in the 1600. They also had a 2nd place varsity performance in the 4x800 with Jordan Facio, Goetsch, EJ Brotarlo, and Patrick McCormick.
